After qualifying with honours within The London City and Guilds Technical Graphics 1 & 2 qualification, Gary started his career with Technical Publications in Midrand South Africa, way back in 1982.

Ras’ quick learning ability made him a good graphic and multimedia designer hence he has been appointed head of Research, Conceptualisation and Multimedia.

Victor is a well matured, experienced and reliable hardworking gardener who can double up as a handyman. He is friendly, funny, energetic and works without any supervision.

His position was as a junior Technical Illustrator, which included doing illustrations for parts, operation and maintenance manuals. This grounding gave him the confidence to set up his own company called Tech Graphix, where he did technical illustrations, including airbrush work, for companies ranging from the SADF to Ad Agencies in 1987. From there he became a partner in a company called The Guild Combination in 1989.

Gary has been instrumental in developing “The SMME Business Toolkit”, which is an ideal device to use as an information source and guide for start up for the small business owner, he is also an intrigued component in the DEA, People and Parks programme where he is currently working in both South Africa and SADC and communities to assist in land ownership, and management as well as promoting solutions for growth, conservation and tourism.

Although Gary doesn't have Wildlife Management qualification, he has been the corner stone of SANParks’ all communication collaterals and initiated several conservation projects for SANParks. It is with this in mind that Gary has been instrumental in developingDepartment of Environmental Affairs (DEA) Digital Multimedia Investor Platform, which is an ideal device to use to attract investment into Biodiversity and other projects such as People and Parks programme. Gary is currently working in both South Africa and SADC and communities to assist in land ownership, and management as well as promoting solutions for growth, conservation and tourism.

After completing his Diploma of Visual and Digital Arts from Limkokwin University of Creative Technology (Malaysia), he went to complete his Degree of Communication Design with the University of Newcastle (Australia).

Ras was the best student throughout the course in Malaysia. It is in light of the above that he has been a key figure in compiling all the SANParks marketing collaterals during the course of the SANParks-The Guild contract. His creativeness and innovative ideas are his real assets which enabled him to achieve the objectives of SMME development in the SADC region especially Community Based Resource Management programmes, heritage marketing, multimedia, but to mention a few.
